13 years of time-coherent listening

In the summer of 2011 FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK re-positioned itself so as to be able to boost new projects with a new extended team.

Special qualification
Since 1998 FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK has developed and manufactured – with the certificate of performance for special qualification from the Bavarian Ministry of Economics and Technology - time-coherent high-end loudspeakers. In 1999 FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK was awarded the order by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs to develop a "time-coherent studio monitor" for the large sound studio of the Munich Academy of Music, which was carried out successfully.

Time-coherent, complete analogue-digital system
In 2005, in addition to the time-coherent analogue loudspeaker systems, first prototypes of digital amplifiers as well as an audio real-time PC were developed. Thus, FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK provides a holistic concept for audio systems - a worldwide unique technology - and completes their own loudspeakers to form a perfect, time-coherent, complete analogue-digital system, which will now enter series production.

Basic attitude
Already when he was an adolescent Thomas Förster, who founded the FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK e. K., uncompromisingly examined all parts of a loudspeaker with respect to their physical principles and interactions. At the age of seventeen Thomas Förster cut his first high-end loudspeakers, which he had bought from his savings, apart with a circular hand saw so as to find out why they did not sound as they should. Ever since it has been his goal to construct loudspeakers that nature-identically reproduce music from the sound carrier - just as the artist has recorded it.

Corporate philosophy
The guiding principle of FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK still is to think the manufacturing and development steps through down to the smallest detail, to check them and to confirm them in practice. In the end what is heard and not theory constitute the standard on the way to an absolutely nature-identical, time-coherent reproduction of music.

The company is located in Gauting near Munich. The products are manufactured on site and mostly in nearby workshops.
