Cables
Loudspeaker cables FA33
An audio cable is used for the uninterfered transmission of audio
signals that can be perceived by the human ear.
Concept
According to our experience, common cable parameters, such as inductance, capacity and skin effect
do not play that important role with respect to sound which is attributed to them. With the FA33 we
focus on avoiding the phenomena of current displacement and on optimization of shielding, since
these parameters turned out to be essential for the sound.
Structure
The FA33 is a cable which is based on three conductors and has an exactly determined asymmetric
cross-section. Shielding is effected via an additional classical braided shield which is not
involved in signal transmission at all, since, due to its inhomogeneous structure, it does not
exhibit optimum signal-carrying properties. In addition, a ferrite layer in the cable structure
decreases interference liability.
Farewell to volume threshold
The special cable geometry ensures that the relatively high cross-section of the three conductors
also allows the faintest impulses to pass through it flawlessly. While in case of conventional
cables listening becomes unpleasant as soon as the volume threshold is exceeded, the FA33 turned
out to have no threshold at all, i.e. guarantees pleasant listening to loud and loudest music,
just like in a concert hall.
Assembly
The FA33 is manufactured manually in a laborious procedure and is thus only available completely
assembled and optionally with eddy-current-free WBT nextgen TM Spades/Bananas in WBT crimp technology
or with Neutrik Speakon 4-fold gold. br>
The FA33 is installed as internal cable in all loudspeakers made by FÖRSTER AUDIOTECHNIK.

Electronics
If something special is to be created, every individual part is of importance. We use exclusively the best of them.
Tuning
At the end of the manufacturing process each pair of loudspeakers is completely acoustically tuned.
