CD-Transport
CD transport with optical conductors
CD transport - planned for 2012
The CD transport as supplier of the digital data read from the CD - audio data plus clock data - to an
analogue-to-digital converter or a digital amplifier via the usual S/PDIF-interface (based on electrical
conductors) is highly susceptible to jitter. This disturbs the music flow and diminishes sound space.
Therefore, FÖRSTER AUFIOTECHNIK replaces the electrical conductors of the S/PDIF interface by an alternative
interface. The latter is based on optical conductors where clock data reach their destination independent
from the audio data and without jitter. In this way music is reproduced from a CD as genuinely as possible.
Our CD transport is planned for mid-2012.

Sound
Good sound is time-coherent. It is spatial, clear and natural - and it elicits strong emotions.
Innovation
The future: the complete digital-analogue system. Supported by the Free State of Bavaria.
